"Be Still and know that I am God" Psalms 46:10a
When was the last time you were still during the holiday season? It's interesting that the Thanksgiving Holiday is purposefully to give thanks for our blessings. Christmas is to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Our society doesn't seem to find quiet time during this time of year because we are rushed with activities. The remainder of this verse says "I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth". As you move into this hectic season, remember that God must be a vital part of of the activity and we are called to exalt Him.
