His Creation

I’ve talked much about walking with God and what we all have in store as we journey down the path of life. We must take one step at a time with him, listening intently and obeying his word.

It can be a hard journey in today’s world. Distractions seem to be at every corner. Land line telephone calls, cell phone calls, endless e-mails to write and answer, mountains of correspondence to plow through and we haven’t even begun to cross off anything on our daily list of “things to do” at home!

Sometimes those details distract us from enjoying the true beauty of each day. For me, it is nature and the beauty of the universe that calms my restless heart and revitalizes my soul. The Lord gives us the gift of such beauty every single day. The autumn colors of the mountains, the sun rising over the ocean, the first blossoms of the spring, the first snowfall of the winter. We can even find the beauty of a rainy day if we have the right attitude.

The vastness of his creation is something that should be celebrated. No distractions. Just the beauty of his creation. Celebrate it!
